Thank you for the apology, but as I said it isn't really necessary.
I'm not sure how many small towns there are any more. It seems that cities are spreading and towns are becoming more bedroom communities. But that may not be true nationwide. And maybe with telecommuting, the trend will reverse itself.
You ought to come see for yourself some day! I know I've always wanted to visit Australia and soak up a bit of that culture. :)
