Well, I don't think just skipping one class makes a person lazy. However, if you do it more than once and things like that...which I have no idea if you do, BTW.
But does it really matter if your mother calls you lazy? She's probably just trying to help motivate you, and it sounds as if she is just venting her frustrations about your Dad. And perhaps your mother is concerned because she doesn't want to see your tuition/allowance money go to waste......being at college is a great opportunity. And I reckon most mothers have called their children lazy at some point in their lives......
So prove your mother wrong, when she next rings tell her all the stuff you've been doing.
