Today one of my co-workers was calling herself stupid for not getting a Mac. I told her it wasn't a matter of intelligence, just a matter of memorizing how you do this and that. I know when I get on a PC, although I CAN navigate (eventually), I'm still wandering around going, where is the freaking trash can??? Its just a learning curve.
Maybe tomorrow I'll ask her if she wants me to show her some stuff. I've never, ever trained anybody, and am not sure if I can. When I was trying to tell her that she didn't mess anything up by delelting Quark from her dock, KnowItAllGirl came in and took over. Then she offered to train her. My co-worker knows what she's like so it was kind of funny. I wanted to tell her I could help her, but low self esteem took over and I decided I wouldn't be able to show her since I don't know enough about PC's to tell her what compares to what. But I later realized I was putting myself down. I'm going to try to make it a point tomorrow to ask her is she would like to sit down with me and let me show her what I know. Wish me the self confidence to actually do it!
