Yesterday, the college called me to make sure I had purchased a computer...
I was wondering when they were going to enforce that rule - I bought mine last year, and there were still students that didn't have theirs yet!
About finding out how much space you have left...I really am not sure....I assume you open up your hard drive disk and down at the bottom, mine says I have 12GB left....d*mn...i need to do some housecleaning!
