******I hope it's cooled down for you now. It has here. It's now 23C/72F (approx) & I feel as if I'm gasping in the fresh cool air!!! There was a terrible storm last nite. I was over in the next town picking up some compost for my garden; I heard about it on an internet site called "pass-it-on" - it's like 'freecycle' - people who want to give away stuff free post about it & people who are looking for stuff free post asking for it. It's a GREAT way for things not to end up in landfill sites! Anyway, here I was shovelling compost into big buckets & putting them into my car. I could tell it was going to storm, so I was hurrying & not even looking around me. All of a sudden, the people across the road shouted to me "You should get inside. There's going to be a really bad storm." & when I looked at the sky it was BLACK. Well, OK - dark gray! You could see the dark clouds blowing around. I hurried & finished & the wind started to really blow. Leaves were hurling around in the air & I was really getting scared. As it was, I was heading South & the storm was coming from the North. I felt like I was racing from the storm (I was driving REALLY fast to try to keep ahead of it!! Over to the East, near the horizon, you could see a distinct line where the black clouds ended & totally white & blue sky appeared! It was very intense & scarey. Lightening & wind to beat heck. I got home safely but the lightening was scarey.
ANYway, it poured & today, miracle or miracles it's cool & clear & fresh & THANK GOODNESS!!!!!
Hope it's like that in your neck of the woods too.********

*****WHAT!!!!!!???******
(Unfortunately, I missed the ten-oclock news, so that's all I know.)
******Maybe they want you to provoke someone into punching you in the nose! LOL Anyway, hope it's cooler there. Take care. Kath*******
