Sonics and Dairy Queens are all over the outskirts of Texas. They are great. Whenever I get to travel, I love to stop at one in a small town and get great fast food. Sometimes it is the main place (one or the other) in one of those just drive through on your way to some place else towns. My parents grew up in those kind of small places up north, and I've always wondered what that could be like.

If you felt liberal in Austin, you're either a commie pinko, or you were in the wrong part. No offense please! I'm just joking that Austin is the most liberal major city in texas.

I love the aimless feeling of travel, like those couple of days are just what they are and no more, and there is a destination, or home at the end.

welcome back,
James K
