"A Handmaids Tale" is brilliant. I studied it at varsity. This year (aside from Harry Potter) all I have read is Atwood. I think that after a while they start to seem rather the same. But then so does Agatha Christie, so does a psycho-thriller, so does most everything...
I like her women, though.
I can get into the spirit of them indeed.
(Holey wow, there are even study guides on Amazon!)
So I think you should read "Handmaids Tale". Really. It is very good indeed.
