Slinky, I think you are one of the most delightful people I've met online. I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so much distress. Please don't hate your self-contradictions. Humans are complicated beings. We are supposed to be made up of contradictions and ambivalence. I think the hard part (or part of the hard part) is learning to live with, tolerate, and reconcile the ambivalance and contradictions. We feel grateful that you are here -- all of you! We are grateful for the nasty Slinky, the nice Slinky, the angry Slinky and the happy Slinky.
