It poured on friday, it was 72 degrees and BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY. I did it guys. I did it. I held up entirely and completely, smiled all the way down the aisle, no tears, all smiles. Me and dad eskimo kissed....awwwwwwww...did i mention i looked hot? I felt like i did...ok..smiles smiles..then the sign of peace, gave aunt t a rose, and the tears began a rollin'...i even did a couple of those grunty cryey squacks, left a standing with my family and i jetted right back to the alter:) It was ok, it really wasnt bad for gods SAKES SHE CAME! SHE CAME TO MY WEDDING!!!and she even wore a lei!!!..Reception was great, instead of the bridal dance they did a golf "tournament" people kicked in money, 600$ to be exact and bet on who would shoot the closest to the hole. We got the proceeds and the "winner" got 50$, which of course, no pun, he gave to us. plus i got out of a lot of dancin. we presented to garter and bouquet, and then played billy joels shes got a way....and i danced with aunt t and i was once again squealing and bawling, but you could have heard a pin drop in that place. I mean total and complete silence, and everyone was standing, and I kid you not EVERYONE EVERYONE the dj the bartenders, the waiters the waitresses everyone stopped and looked and cried and smiled ...AUNT T DID NOT CRY! SHE IS SO STRONG, She simply smiled. after about 30 seconds, i took the mike and asked my dad to cut in and then the rest of her brothers and sisters, and then at the end i asked anyone else that wanted to share the best wedding present in the world to go give aunt t a hug and everyone, EVERYONE gathered around her and cheered. It was absolutely amazing and incredible. I will never forget the feeling I had in my heart when that song was playing, it was totally indescribable. it would have made the perfect visa commercial, it was entirely priceless..please listen to that billy joel song and think about this wonderful woman, who never got married or had kids, retired and moved away and got diagnosed with cancer. she went from a size 24 to a 6. SHE LOOKED BEAUTIFUL THOUGH! Everyone had a lei we had light up ones and beachcomber hats and afterwards i put on a white sundress and a grass skirt. and there were flowers in the drinks there were pink flamingos and blow up ukeleles and palm trees and seashells and shell shaped mints and framed postcards of beaches on all the tables and seashell candle centerpieces and my girls got me these light up flip flops and i got some hot lingere...and some lady i did not know gave me her wedding band at the bar the night before to wear as something borrowed...i gave it back after of course. I had a precious cousin that was convinced that i was a princess and i carried her with me all night long. I got to tell so many people that i will probably never see again before they leave this earth exactly how i felt about them. I smiled and held my head up and it was incredible. cept we forgot to get the marriage license signed oooooooppppppsssss... I am so happy i can not describe it...i forgot to take my lex for two days in a row but had a half a xanax here and there...I DID IT!!! Next stop, CANCUN!!! See yall in a week.
