I don't really hate heat, but I don't go running around in the sun when its 100% either. But I would much rather have it hot than cold any day. I hate the cold!
I've gone to Six Flags in 100° plus weather before, but as long as you drink lots of water and ride the water rides alot, it okay. And going to the lake is okay too. As long as you can cool your body down periodically, its not so bad. But on just your average TX summer day, you mostly just go straight from your air conditioned house, to your air conditioned car, to another air conditioned place. And if your air conditioner dies in your car, man, it sucks to be you. I know from experience.
