Who.... Me..... Late? OMG!
Feeling that I would like to join this wonderfull club, Here is my 4th Thursday report.
Our family thanksgiving celebration took place at the home of a brother of whom I would rather avoid being in the same solar system. The mere 93,000,000 miles to the sun is still a bit too close. Ok..... hyperbole, perhaps a bit. If he was on the sun, then he would burn up completely, so perhaps 93,000,000 miles is enough. <<evil grin>>
Well, I was invited to his house by my parents. At my parents, he stopped by and invited me himself. No go. In Dr. Phills lingo, "That dog don't hunt".
I went, instead, to visit a good friend, we ate no turkey, and watched movies. Oh, yeah, chocolate. That should be the new tradition.... dump the turkey, grab the chocolate. Ok, ok, ok, They guys love to fall asleep in the chair facing the TV, and are awakened only by the change of channel. This problem can be fixed with pharmacuticals.... a single 100 mg of xxxxxxx passed off as a digestive aid will keep them asleep right through the channel changes and the women can watch WE for quite some time without fear of the 'Y' creatures awakening. What's better is that they will be sleeping for so long and soundly that they might have to spend the night where they are. Freedom at last.
Well, I didn't try that trick... I wasn't there. It's nice to know though, that there are options.
I had the requisite left-overs the following day. It didn't make me feel as if I was left out.
