Don't worry I did'nt think you were preaching. I actually tried the financial aid thing through the federal financial aid and through the school but if you are under 25 and your parents make too much money you are s.o.l. and you can't lie (not that I would) because it goes by their income tax retuns. I don't live with either of my parents and they would be happy to help me but here's the situation: My mom lives with her boyfriend who is a great guy but he pays most of the bills and she runs her own non-profit organization (free music lessons for kids)I am also involved I am the secretary and a bass guitar player Not very good yet though) anyways so she can't help and my Dad is the one who payed for the quarter that I already took(I also did it on the internet) but he was very recently remarried and they just bought a little fixer upper house. So even though he makes around 25$ an hour he does'nt have much to give and he was just layed off (he is a cement mason). The student loans I could probably get but it scares me to be in so much debt as I don't even have a job and about 4 math classes to take to be college level and I have no idea what to study for. I'm just trying to work on myself right now and maybe start trying to get a little job pretty soon then after that maybe I'll try again. I kind of want to be a librarian and people always laugh because I have a couple of piercings and 3 tattoos and my parents are rock musicians (that was a very interesting childhood).
So that's the scoop but I do know that there are still options out there for me and when I am really ready to commit myself to it I will. Thanks for listening to my life story :).
