It's not that horrible, Kara Lynne. It was absolutely horrible (and terribly unkind) timing on his part. You couldn't be expected to be at your best. You can take the test over again, right? Wait until you think you're in good shape again.
And don't judge yourself harshly for it. The exact same thing happened to a friend of mine, with the exact same results. It's only to be expected I think.
