I guess there's no true safety in this world, unless you're religious and have faith. I'm not really, as I can't decide what I believe, so I agree that it's all a risk. I mean, nothing is really permanent in this world, is it?

At the same time, perhaps things can be temporarily safe. Or perhaps that's not possible. I dunno. I guess I think of safe as being something I can depend on for the time being, without giving too much thought for the future. I mean, anything could happen in the future, but right now I look for safety with my therapist and my pdoc, and those are truly the only places I find it. I know it could all change in a moment, and that is a risk, opening up when that could happen, but when I'm in the room with them, for that moment, I feel safe.
