Last theatre I visited was all too public to go back by myself, it's been almost a year and I miss my movies but I just can't go alone again if I'm gonna walk out onto a battlefield, and me without my AK47.
I should have known it would upset me, first I cried while reading the newspaper review, but being the dumbell I am, went by myself to the fancy, upscale, richest theatre in town, The Arbor, and ended up sobbing, hiccuping, snorting, alone, raw, no kleenex, unable to stand, people having to step around me to leave the aisle, old ladies walking by shouting THAT POOR CHILD HER HEART MUST BE BREAKING then going outside bawling in front of 4 lines of people, no, make that 4 lines of ADVERSARIES, whispering, no, HISSING, "Wonder what she saw?" NONE OF YR DAMN BUSINESS, THAT'S WHAT," stumblin into Barnes and Noble, lost love nipping at my heels, in the magazine section, now, looking for reviews, a book or newspaper flyer, some confirmation that it was indeed a sad movie and crying is allowed, in some cases encouraged, sorry, no luck.IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE,
