Pet rats are the sweetest things. Never had one but wish I could - not with my 3 cats though.
They are remarkably loving. Played with others lots. One pair were so funny. They loved ice-cream but it was SO cold for their little paws so they'd picked it up & drop it on the other's back where they'd lick it off. Rats are very social animals so really love our attention.
