I find that I am most obsessed with the meaning of life when I am depressed. At other times, it seems I am too busy doing stuff to think about it.

That being said, to me, the struggle with this question became more peaceful when I decided to accept the idea that there is no ONE meaning of life. That life is essentially meaningless, and that for each of us, the meaning is what we each decide is meaningful for us. But think LITTLE.
REALLY LITTLE.

What I mean is, life is in the little moments, not the big heavy "meaning" thing.

As for 20's and other decades, I agree that my 20's were very hard. What I learned since then is that, contrary to what I was led to believe growing up, I didn't have to have all the answers or have my life together as soon as I hit adulthood, and that I didn't have to have my whole life's path figured out. A lot of good stuff happens in the detours.

There is a new book out call "Quarterlife Crisis", about the struggles of people in their 20's. Perhaps that will speak to your struggles.
