Meaning of life, I'm not sure.
Getting through life, these tenets I would hold to:

It's ok to have personal happiness.

Step out decisively on your own behalf; NOT apologetically. Follow your dream (you might as well).

Unattach from the survival pattern of 'life is hard' -- do as YOU want, don't take care of others.

Don't hesitate to step on your clear path; let go of old messages that dissuade you from doing so.

Experiment with your outlook. May change or not. Your decision is not forever; try out various things.

Live and move and change at your own pace, one thing at a time; aim to be the greater you.

The past is fait accompli; shrug and go on.
