You'll get your turn. The temperature can turn to freezing in August. If it stays warm enough to swim this month it is a bonus. Sometimes we can't start until July. We've had snow in June and my shoes got soaked. Most nights I wear long johns.
Winter comes fairly early, I'll let you know once the snow begins to fly. Even having said all this winter is my favourite season. But I really like spring and the fall, and summer isn't so bad. Oh it is hard to choose!
Are you in Arizona? I would like to have the umph to go rock climbing there.
