I think that power has been on the wane for a no. of yrs, due in part by chronic govt. welfare underinvestment. Health & education comprise only 4.5% of GDP apiece (countries like France are 7+%), & this by our current Labour govt which is supposed to be SOCIALIST!!! One third of Ukers leave school functionally illiterate; how can we expect to compete in a global mkt on these terms? They seem to have no formal links to psychiatry itself.
You can see why I've switched allegiances & now consult a US pdoc (in effect paying twice)!
