If you honestly view him as "the best of the worst" I would say shop around. No, he won't be angry at you for contacting him. Not at all. It is important to have some regard for any T that treats you. If your regard for this T is shaky at best, look around. I have learned here that people are talking to T's on the phone before they make appointments. Try that. It's free! I am going to do that myself I think. Talk on the phone. I have been going in in person and insurance has been paying for the visits but I am getting sick of it. I get my hopes up, etc. I like the concept of 'interviewing' or at the least talking to a potential T on the phone first. It would have saved alot of time for the last possible T I saw. Within minutes of hearing her policies I knew it was not something I would work well with. Even she said the phone would have been a better option because she was sorry I had to make the trip and keep the appointment for essentially nothing.
