I would have a heck of a hard time going back, if that was the first meeting.
However, it is something my therapist had done at least twice that I know of. If one of those times had been our first appointment, I'd have missed out on a great relationship. One where I accept that organization is not his strong suit. Which is ok, because that's a flaw I can live with.
That being said, I'd have never gotten to know him that well, since I doubt I could have gotten past that on a first meeting. Especially since I view first meetings as a weather balloon.
