What jumps out at me about that dream is you discovering different rooms, which you stated was pretty obvious.
So you're discovering new rooms and find a massive player piano in your bedroom which was really big. Do you think the idea of getting it to work was important, it was big right, so it's going to be hard to get that massive handle turning. Creating beautiful music.
To me it sounds like you are opening new doors into many aspect of your life, and some of the things you find are a little too big or confronting at times which sounds totally normal to me.
It's great you went discovering new rooms and items in your house, even if it was a dream. It's symbolic to me that you are ready to look and explore different aspects of you're life, checking out new rooms to me means you're ready for change and to start facing things.
I think the player piano was a test of sorts, because of it's size. It almost seems like it was too big for you, only at this point in time because you weren't scared of it, so you can face that one later
