Poet, this sure sounds like depression talking. It can undo a lot of progress that we've made in therapy.
I've made so many adjustments and changes in my medications in order to feel functional. I would call Dr Clueless and let him know that whatever it is you're on isn't working.

You're not a failure. Finding a job that allows you to shine is really hard! Having to make do for the time being is not your fault, Poet. Just think of all those college graduates tending bar part time (like my step daughter...)
