i didn't understand this ? until grey responded, now i think i do.
i tend to get paralysed in inaction too, but i find just getting up, getting started gets me going. if you can bear it, something like flylady.com can be helpful for some for household things. i'm bad at the running around chores.
complaining? hmmmmm, tape recording yourself and then listening to it is more unbearable than most anything, it can stop you in your tracks for awhile. i hate to hear my own voice, let alone my screechy, whiny voice played back to me.
