When I was seeing a T, I told her in one of the first sessions that I'd found some supportive & fun on-line forums and that I planned to post regularly. She thought that sounded cool and good and didn't ask too many questions. I think I even told her it was Babble, and said she shoudl check it out b/c it was so cool! I don't know if she did, though.
But I made it very clear that this was something I do, and that nothing I do is up for debate or messing with. I was probably a very difficult client! So firm with my own ideas. :) But she did coax me into trying a new job, and into putting resumes out there, and I appreciated that. So she did help me branch out.
