That's how I handled Dr EyeCandy, too, except that I never asked him what he'd prefer. I figured, just from the way he holds himself, that I already knew the answer. (And, of course, he introduced himself as Dr EyeCandy, with no first name, which was also a clue...)
So, for a year, I'd knock on his door, he'd open it and say, "Oh [like he was surprised to see me, despite the receptionist announcing me via telephone and my chart on his desk], hello Racer." I'd walk past him and sit down.
Dang, but we're contrary folk, aren't we?
