Daisy, any good at dreams?

Posted by Karen_kay on December 9, 2003, at 17:18:20

So, I had a series of dreams, 3 actually over the weekend. Are you any good helping me make sense of them? I hope so.. Here goes.. Well, first of all I usually don't remember my dreams at all so ones that I do are usually significant to me in a sort of way. And these were in the same night.

First dream..
I was at an airport with a lay over waiting in a lounge and a band was playing. I was dressed up and the band sprayed paint everywhere. I was extremely upset. A very lovely girl laughed at me for being upset that my clothing was ruined. And I became very violent with her. I remember a lot of blood, her blood.

Second Dream..
My mother, father, Deana, Steph, Jen, Barbara,(all sisters) and I were sitting in our living room watching a home video. Suddenly the video cut to a different home movie of my father, me, Barbara and either my mother or Jen (I couldn't tell which) all having sex. No one made a move to stop the tape and finally I did. I got up and left the room. Deana and Steph (half sisters from my Dad's side yet very close to my mother) came up to me and said "Dad is close to death. It is best we don't discuss this any further, for his sake." No one cared about anyone else's feelings except his and at that point in the dream he looked extremely healthy. He didn't appear to be sick.

Third Dream..
I was in my kitchen with three people I've never met before in my life, yet they were my best girl friends. I was pulling somehting for dinner down from my pantry and the ceiling started to cave in. I didn't know what to do. I could leave the room to call 911, but the ceiling would cave in and kill everyone else but me. I didn't want to live if my friends all died. Two of them were on the ground hurt, so they couldn't leave the room. So, I just stood there, waiting to die with them.

Strange series of dreams, eh? Stranger yet is the fact that I remembered them all. I rarely remember my dreams. The fact that I remember them makes me think that there must be something significant about them, esp. the one about my dad. The only thing I can think is the fact htat my mother knew. The same thing happened to Jen prior, but she left the house with my mother telling her it is her fault.
Can you make any sense out of them? Or any insight at all might be helpful... Thanks
Karen
