Good Bye, Aunt Bea

Posted by Shar on January 17, 2005, at 21:37:42

Good bye. God speed. I hope you land in a place that is what you thought it would be like ( where Jesus is an Anglo, etc.).

On a personal note, my Aunt Bea died Monday. My sis and I went to the nursing home where my mom was shell-shocked because of her death.

I guess the best thing was that I brought some Lavender oil, mixed it with water, and wiped her face, hands, arms...and my sis read some inspirational poems. I read some from the Sermon on the Mount.

It's been a hectic week.

Aunt Bea was her own person. She had one son. Boys in our family are totally doted upon. So, her son, I hope, felt doted upon.

I have a lot of thoughts, but do not feel all that safe posting them here.
