I used to teach a course in "Completing your dissertation or thesis" at the local university's 'informal classes.' In researching the course and designing the curriculum, I discovered that about 50 percent of Ph.D. students, and 70 or more percent of the Master's students do not finish their degrees. So, you are not alone!
