Thank you for this post.
The tears jumped in my eyes when I saw that poem "Masters of War".

I did EMDR on the 9-11 tragedy.
I too was feeling like there was no future and that travel was dangerous. I was watching it on TV as it unfolded....I was on the floor screaming.
It took me this long to finally work on the trauma.
I just couldn't even touch it till recently.
I hate war.....
I am sad when people misunderstand eachother much less wipe eachother out.
War gives us very few options and choices.

Soon we are coming upon the Hiroshima and Nagasaki anniservary....how many years ago....every year this comes up I want to put candles in little paper boats and float them down the river.
I want to bow my head and pray for us to use other means for conflict resolution.

Yoshimi, I have no answers for the "why" of war but an abundance of questions.
I still have hope that we can learn and change...
but that hope is dimming.
I too am very sad.
