> I will admit that years ago when I was in college I abused my ADD meds thinking it would help me get through long nights of studying and I always felt so ashamed. But now that I no longer abuse them but I still feel that guilt. I also feel ashamed for liking the way I feel after I take it. Anyone feel this way or does anyone have feedback..Thank you

These drugs are what they are. They do help some people stay up late and study. It must have been a great temptation to employ them as tools. Even had you become addicted to the euphoriant effects some people experience, it is not your fault that these drugs have this property. Either way, it seems that you took from this a learning experience and have chosen to behave differently. I don't see where the guilt lies. At the very worst, you got caught in a very common trap that you have since extricated yourself from. I think you should acknowledge this accomplishment and gain from it self-esteem. I'm pretty sure that God forgives you. Perhaps you should follow His lead and forgive yourself, too.

but in how hard the climb.

The measure of success lies only in how high one feels he must
climb to get there.
