I think it is important to understand that many mental issues have biological components that one has little or no control over. You are not weak.
I really like what Dinah and Kath had to say. God has given to man many gifts, including those that can heal or ease pain and suffering. I believe that the invention of psychotropic drugs is one such gift.
I hope that you resolve your spiritual dilemma.
