Some theologians have told me that this means God turned away from Him, and separated Himself from the Messiah, because at that moment, as He was being the sacrifice, He took on the sins of the world, and became sin, and God cannot abide sin, and so abandoned Him...

Dena,
You wrote,[...to be in darkness...choose my own independence...FEELS...to believe...perceptions can be mistaken...trust...using EVEN the darkness...]
It has been revealed to me that when one experiances The Sign of Jonah, it is a calling and if one is in the darkness, feeling forsaken, that they could then know that there is hope and that the Sun of Rightiousness is arrising with healing in His wings. And it has been revealed to me that many are called, and that many in this manner, and that if one recognizes that they are in the Valley of the Shadow of Death, that they can be delivered from the darkness.
It has been revealed to me that one could spend three days and three nights in this darkness and if one knows of this that they can choose to endure like Jonah, who was called, and be chosen.
Lou
