>No, indeedy! I would hold your hand, encourage your questions, invite you to dance with your doubts, and tell you to dare to go to the limits of the edges of your faith... to walk on the precipise and tell God that you trust Him to catch you if you fall...
I can't WAIT 'til you read "A New Kind of Christian"! I'm predicting (not prophesying, but you know) that you'll be flooded with relief, "aha's" galore, and tremendous rejoicing that you're not alone in your "spiritual weirdness"!
I've experienced a heady sense of awe, wonder, trepidation, and yet freedom since having my world "expanded" by what and how the author has written...
AND, I'm being invited to go to his church this weekend -- it's where all the bikers, tatoo-ed folks, seekers, doubters, and others who feel "maligned" in traditional churches go...
He's heard about how we got "kicked out" of our former church, and he wants to hear the story from us...
I'm amazed that this is happening... all because I cried out to God almost a year ago, saying, "I don't know what or how to believe anymore, so You've got to show me and help me!"
(go get that book so we can talk!)
Shalom, Dena
