James 1:5 is what drove a young boy to vocal prayer, and because of it, a whole religion was restored. But it doesn't stop there. Every single person who has ever or ever will live has equal opportunity to receive divine wisdom from the Lord.
The other day I opened my scriptues thinking I might find direction and the first verse I read was glorious. When you find such a verse, specifically meant for the day, it hits the bulls-eye of your understanding. I can't explain it, but it is real, the force and power and spirit with which it enters your soul lets you know it was a communication from God. To the question posed, "The Holy Ghost, how can we hear him" , I would say this is one way.
