Buddhism and Anti-depressants -- some thoughts?

Posted by asha on December 22, 2003, at 21:00:31

I'm a practicing Buddhist and have been on anti-depressants for about 2 1/2 years. I've never really been able to decide where I stand with anti-depressants philosophically. I whole-heartedly believe that the Buddhist path will eventually lead me away from depression forever.. but in the mean time...I've not decided if I'm compromising my beliefs, taking the easy road..

Thoughts?
