Would you mind sharing how magnesium glycinate made you feel? My issues are mainly sleep though also depression, so I thought the glycinate version, if taken at night, would be my best bet as I found citrate a little activating if I took the full recommended dose. I can't imagine taking magnesium during the day, though, as I would imagine it would be sedating. Was that your issue with it, feeling out of it?
