Well, krill oil contains an antioxidant called astaxanthin, which is not found in fish oil. I suspect, though, that it is left in by a less than thorough processing, as salmon's pink/orange hue arises, at least in part, from this same molecule, which it accumulates from eating krill or similar crustaceans.
I checked the archives, and jakeman posted that a bottle he'd obtained appeared to be somewhat rancid. I bought some, and mine too was rather off-smelling.
Krill oil does contain some phospholipids, and more than a trace of vitamin A. However, the concentration of EPA and DHA is much lower than in fish oils.
I'm not convinced there is anything of substantial merit in krill oil that would account for the premium cost.
