Yes, it is quite possable that the effect is more to do the PEA actions of Fo-Ti, exercise, and chocolate.
I read a lot of studies. I will see if I can find the one I was referring to. While I don't think it meets your critera, I believe it did show that dark chocolate intake was associated with detectable changes in anandamide activity. You've never heard the term "stoned chocoholics" ??
