Then, maybe that would be the best place to start.

I think this would be the location in the FAQ that contains the current guidelines.

How might you modify the verbiage here?

Even though my name litters these threads, I am doing very little of the truly hard work. I am just asking questions and wish to leave it to others to help answer them.

Just to reiterate, I have posted here since 1999, which is before there were any posting guidelines or rules of civility that were enforceable by imposing posting blocks. Previous to the appearance of these rules, it was a great place for those people who had strong personalities and were not so easily silenced through bullying. Now, there is no allowance for bullying. Those people with less strong personalities have a safer place to be able to speak, be heard, and speak some more. It is a more nurturing neighborhood now than it was then.
