yes that IS what i'm saying, within 5 minutes of when you started this thread, the server became so overloaded with voters that NO posts could get through to it, and it was clear babble was going to crash. so bob yells up the stairs to me (ha and you wondered where he was these days, so naive you are!) and says he's leaving it up to me. he says "Con (yes, now he's calling me 'con' too, thanks for nothin lady, you just COULDN'T let me finally enjoy having a name that sounds female, could you???)..." Anyway so he says "Con, it's your call. should i risk letting babble crash, depriving hundreds of people of support and education, or let the voting continue?"
and what do you think i said?? like the noble, selfless, heart of babble that i am, i said "Close the polls bob. even if it will end up making it look like no one voted for me. even if no one will ever know how far i went, how i sacrificed myself, for babble!!!" yeah THAT'S the kind of dame i yam, in case anyone ever wondered! but what thanks do i get!!
oh and then he says, "What about the Vice Administratorship??" even offers me a new computer, the corner office and a company car (can you believe he bought it when i said i'd need one!). but i'm sorry to tell you i had to respectfully decline, as my plate is already quite full with performing good deeds galaxy wide, thank you.
