Yes, I find it really hard to comment on these issues too.

In fact, I tend to shy away once the board gets too many of these types of posts.

I mean I know people struggle with these issues. But once it becomes a mutual "soulmates" type of situation, then I guess it stops being therapy.

Maybe these posts just belong on the relationship board.

I guess what would be interesting to figure out is why these posts bother me so much. I mean I do share concern about people getting hurt because it seems to be a very tricky situation but I think there is more to it than that. I definitely don't think I'm jealous.

Hmmm, I don't know. Therapy seems so serious and fraught with both so much potential and yet so much danger. I know I'm just thinking about where I'm at.

Also, Alex. I too was involved with a married man at a very young age. I guess it started when I was 9 (just kissing and cuddling stuff) and then progressed to sex at 14. We broke up when I was 18.

I am sorry for it in some ways. His wife and kids (one of them was a year behind me in school) must have suffered a lot in those days.

But that man saved my life. He was the only one who would hold me and soothe me and tell me that I was okay. He owned a hair salon and I could stop in his store and he'd always have something for me to eat and a kind word.

He's still with his wife so I guess they managed to work it out and I'm sure that there were others besides me.

I think when there is just no love at home, kids (and 14 is really a kid, although I'm sure we didn't think of ourselves like that back then) will get it where they can. I think maybe it shows how vital we were. Still are I hope.
