I think just asking for help should be enough. I wouldn't think we'd need anything as formal as a list of volunteers to match up - people naturally seem to group together on the various boards.
But making it clear that it's OK to ask for a post be previewed by someone else for civility would be a right neighbourly thing to do. So if we can put something in the FAQ and maybe at the top of the Newbie board? See if that works.
BTW I have noticed that many new posters bypass the Newbie board entirely and post on the main Babble board, so maybe a mention there, too if it's not too much trouble??
