People get hurt sometimes. It doesn't mean you did anything horrible.
You aren't the cause of Babble not being a peaceful idyllic community, you know. :) A fair number of people here care a lot about things, and that tends to lead to passionate exchanges.

Look how many people care about you!!! What a wonderful thing.
I know it feels rotten to be in the center of a storm, but this too shall pass. The next storm will erupt. And in the meantime you've found a group of passionate people who care about you.
(I can't begin to tell you how many times Babble has been the very centerpoint of my therapy sessions. I think Babble bought my therapist a new car. Actually Dr. Bob alone could account for the new car. Babble probably put a down payment on his house.)
