hey there ~

merriam-webster's offensive language detection system reminds me of the very similar feature on my eudora6 email program ...

is it feasible for adminstration to automate offensive language detection within the babble server system?

is it exspensive?

if those answers were 'yes', and 'no' ....
then suspect posts could be routed through a subroutine for a programmed standard administrative response ...

... the burden of monitoring all babble posts must be a great enough challenge without the extra load of working as the vocabulary police ... ... lightening the load this small amount might make it easier to focus on subtler issues ...

the vocabulary police serve their purpose ... can we make the machines do the job?

greetings,
~ jim
