IMHO: Sometimes a little reality therapy is just what is needed. What if all we did was go around and make people feel "supported" and "accepted" ? It seems to me that that is part of the problem in this post-moderan society. We have children who have never really grown up because they have gone through life, school etc, getting their "self-esteem" protected or reinforced. One does not need to be cruel; the facts can be presented in a positive way. Will it be non-"threatning ?" Maybe, maybe not. We all have to learn to, as a popular saying goes --"DEAL WITH IT"
