Well, just as an exercise, imagine that you are a blocked poster like Gabbi or Zenhussy or Lou or Zo. You perhaps have written Dr. Bob and asked for your block time to be reduced, to no avail. Then you read Dr. Bob saying

"Well, as I said before, I think that if someone's going to be supportive, there's something to be said for having them back sooner rather than later."

And realize that he didn't decrease your block time. And won't no matter how many times you email him.

How would you feel?

How would you feel as a friend of the blocked poster?

I just think you need to rephrase that sentence, or apologize or something.
