Dr Bob,
Clearly Jay went out of his way to incorporate your suggestion of using "I" statements. And nothing he said was offensive or rude. He merely stated his position on this issue.
Jay and I are probably not on the same page regarding the war effort, but I fully support his right to respectfully voice his opposition.
Poor block Dr. Bob (with all due respect). The referee will now mark off the 15 yarder.
