I'll try my durndest to keep this short, then take a few days off and perhaps admin will be archived by then so the issue will have been "resolved" just like the old timers' board issue was. ;)
The best way for me to handle Lou's posts IS to ignore them. I agree with the wise Mair, IsoM, and Mouse who have all told me that.
Unfortunately, they are not ignored and I do see a serious danger with them, so I respond.
There is a definite personal issue with it as well -- he's bringing up many of the bad things from my childhood, many of the reasons I put off getting help. His posts are Offensive to me, and that's a civility rule.
I'm concerned that he will return again and again, even if blocked, and turn social into a rally for Christianity. Even when he has been ignored, he keeps on replying to himself. That man takes up a lot of space.
That board will potentially be "ruined" imho, with his excessive posts. In fact, I wonder what he really plans to gain from it? If we all said we'd also seen the white horse, would he move on with his message elsewhere?
I guess that's it. Good luck to those of you who are still going to "fight the good fight" on social. I think I'll avoid it particularly for awhile, which is sad b/c I won't be able to offer support to newcomers, when I am actually feeling more stable to do so.
